They say that the movie’s budget was $150 million. Its gross revenue is roughly around $700 million. However, to get the same blockbuster effect to blow away the competition in at costume party, you only need the perfect Transformer costume.

The movie that brought to life one of the world’s favorite cartoon action characters surpassed anyone’s expectations. The director, producers, cast and crew took a giant leap of faith to make the robots real and lifelike on the big screen. Given the hype over the feature film, it is of no surprise that people will forever associate Transformers with other ingenious movies like the Matrix and Star Wars.

The picture stayed true to the TV cartoons’ main plot which was Autobots versus the Decepticons. It also retained the theme of friendship between the human race and the robots. With the right amount of valor and courage injected into the film, it garnered the general audience’s approval and a renewed interest in the alien robot genre. The action sequences and the interesting plot was the right spice added to infuse the movie enough spark to blast its way to the box office.

The characters are unforgettable. Choosing your favorite among the Autobots will not be easy. Although, most kids generally love Bumblebee, some prefer Optimus Prime for his commanding presence or Jazz for his out of this world moves. The Decepticons as villains also have been easy favorites. Blame it on their unique personalities like the evil Megatron, his trusty sidekick Starscream and the somewhat cuddly cunning Frenzy. The human characters are much easier to decide on. With the variety of Transformer costumes, you can pick to be the sultry Mikaela or the fumbling Sam Witwicky.
