When Marvel Comics came out with X-Men in the 1960s, the world was thrust in the mutant genre. Suddenly, every other human could have mutant abilities that would make him more alien than human. The comic series was revered and when it went to television, it was a hit. Every kid or was once a kid who loved the mutants on paper, now stood by and watched it take over primetime television and the rest of the world. You can see kids wearing X-Men costumes and merchandise everywhere. The 90s animated version lasted five seasons. Later on, more animated series were created until it was inevitable that the highly acclaimed mutant team, be shown on the silverscreen.
The X-Men’s story was to bridge the gap between humans and mutants. This was the goal of Professor X, the leader and mentor of the mutant group. However, his arch enemy, Magneto, only seeks to destroy humans because he thinks mankind wants to eliminate all mutants. Based on the fight of good mutants versus evil mutants, organize the perfect party and reconstruct the awesome battle of powers.
Bring out the spandex and tight clothes. Show off your body in the perfect X-Men costume and wow anyone who sees you in it. Dye your hair silver and control the atmosphere in any room when you walk in as Storm. Grab a pair of red tinted eyewear to sear out the competition as Cyclops. Streak a strand of your hair white and absorb everybody’s attention by becoming the mysterious Rogue in an instant. Bring back the marvel of the X-Men and relive its glory.
